Despite the current lull in on-field and on-court sports action during summer break, there are still many things to look forward to as the start of the 2025-26 sports season inches closer.
Eastern Michigan football reveals dates, times for first three games
Another football season kicks off for Eastern Michigan University in just over two months, and with that, the Mid-American Conference has revealed kickoff times and broadcast networks for the first three games on the Eagles’ schedule.
The green and white will begin their season on the road against Texas State University on Aug. 30, 2025, at 8 p.m. Next up will be EMU's opening home game against Long Island University on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Eastern will then return on the road for a tough test against Southeastern Conference school University of Kentucky on Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Fans can catch all the action broadcasted live on ESPNU.
The remainder of the start times and broadcast and streaming arrangements will be revealed 12 days prior to the scheduled game day. Fans can visit the Eastern Athletics website to secure their tickets for the 2025 season.
Eastern Michigan men’s, women’s basketball season tickets on sale
With the 2025-26 college basketball season set to kick off in November, students, fans and alumni can secure their season tickets now for the upcoming campaign to support both the men’s and women’s teams.
