EMU Womens Lacrosse Vs. Marquette

Eastern Michigan women’s lacrosse team recognized at Board of Regents meeting

Having completed another successful season, Eastern Michigan University's women's lacrosse team was recognized for its achievements at EMU's Board of Regents meeting on June 26, 2025.

Although the team is only in its third campaign, it has already accomplished a great deal. Led by head coach Maddie Dugan, the Eagles claimed a share of the Mid-American Conference regular season championship for the first time, made the postseason conference tournament for the second straight year, and saw four players earn all-conference honors.

Mackenzie Blackwell led the way with an outstanding junior campaign that earned her the 2025 MAC Attacker of the Year award and All-MAC First Team honors.

Blackwell shone with a career high of 59 goals, also bagging 65 points in total as she continues to etch her legacy as an Eagle.

Maddie Porter was named the MAC’s Goalkeeper of the Year and also earned All-MAC First Team honors, playing over 1,000 minutes this season and posting a .485 save percentage.

Annika Woszey was also named to the All-MAC First Team. The junior defender recorded 23 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers as she played a pivotal role in multiple key wins for the Eagles on the campaign.

Emerson Henry, a freshman from Ontario, Canada, capped off her debut season with All-MAC Second Team honors, scoring 26 goals and posting 36 points total. She is poised to become an even more critical member of the squad as the team steps into 2026.

Henry and fellow freshman Katheryn Wilson, who posted 27 goals and 37 points total this year, were also granted All-MAC Freshman Team honors.
