A Very Krampus Christmas Special — Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025

Galen Bundy & Jonathan Hammonds will perform “A Very Krampus Christmas Special” on Wednesday.

Christmas music fans will have the opportunity to hear well-known Christmas songs but with a different, humorous beat and style.

Showtime is from 8-11 p.m.

The music event will take place at Ziggy's in 206 W. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti. 

Registration is needed and available online, and entrance is free. 

Santa's Secret Stash — Friday, Dec. 19, 2025

Holidays time is also about giving, and people are invited to participate in the Friday fund and gift collection event.

The event includes live music, dance and optional food.

James Bourland & the ‘Staches will perform their Jazz show and the Rhizome Roots Studio will have a Christmas Dance show. 

The performance will take place at the Water Tower Distilling Co. in Ypsilanti.

Event hours are from 6-10 p.m.

“We will have food! Bring a gift or money to donate!” said the Water Tower Distilling Co. website. 

Beyond Christmas — Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025

Music lovers are invited to participate in the music event “Beyond Christmas.” 

The Beyond Choir that presents the show will perform traditional holiday songs with some twists.

The Choir will present on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online, and the general admission price is $20.

The performance will take place at the Pease Auditorium at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti.

An out-of-Ypsilanti event will be held on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in Lansing.

Artisan Holiday Market — Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20-21, 2025

Shoppers for the winter season holidays are invited to visit the Annual Ypsi Artisan Holiday Market

More than 40 small businesses based in Ypsilanti will offer local artistry goods, allowing shoppers to find holiday gifts for family and friends. 

The market will take place at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse, at 100 Market Place.

Market hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
