Ypsilanti offers a variety of events each week for residents that want to spend their time out on the town. Check out a handful of the upcoming local events and activities below.
Depot Town Cruise Night — June 4, 2026
Cruise Nights is back, and will host a recurring weekly event each Thursday until September 3, 2026. For those who love classic cars and all things auto, be sure to stop by Depot Town from 5-8 p.m. for its weekly car show and "Rally in the Alley" artist market. Streets surrounding the event will be closed at 4 p.m.
Bridging 23 Unity Walk — June 6, 2026
Bridging 23 is holding its 10th annual Unity Walk throughout Ypsilanti. Set to walk from United Way of Southeast Michigan to Brown Chapel AME Church, the event acts as a way to fundraise for The Dispute Resolution Center, which aims to offer affordable mediation services. In addition to the walk, attendees can also enjoy free food and games at the Brown Chapel AME Church after the walk. Those who cannot participate in the walk itself are encouraged to still join in on the church's festivities. The walk itself will begin at 10 a.m., with the event set to end at 3 p.m.
Yoga For Pride — June 7, 2026
Held annually at Riverside Park, join Zion Well founders as they raise money for Equality Michigan and Stand with Trans, two groups dedicated to developing human rights for LGBTQ+ Michigan residents. Running from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., attendees can participate in beginner-friendly yoga while enjoying mental health vendors, D&W's Street Eatery food truck and DJ Myint's feel good tracks. Admission to the event is $25 per ticket.
Beers with Queers — June 8, 2026
With June federally recognized as Pride Month, queer residents can embrace their local community with Corner Brewery's bi-weekly "Beers with Queers" event. Recurring on the second and fourth Monday of each month, Beers with Queers offers a free space to socialize, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options. The event starts at 6 p.m., and offers free admission to all guests.
