Sophomore Emoni Bates, the Ypsilanti product, led EMU with 23 points, but it was the WMU senior from Grand Rapids, Lamar Norman Jr., and his 25 points that were ultimately too much for the Eagles in an 85-79 defeat to the Broncos on Tuesday night.
