Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the speculation over how it will end has been nonstop. The least-controversial and most talked about path towards herd immunity, a state where the majority of the population is immune and therefore cannot spread the virus, is a vaccine. The lingering question, however, remains: what if no vaccine is widely distributed for two or three years, if at all? The only other viable alternative will be achieving herd immunity via the majority of the population contracting COVID-19 and recovering.

The “Brown Boy” NAV is back with a feature lineup of close friends to deliver Good Intentions, the second side to his last album Bad Habits. Through my hardest moments and the hardest times in my life, I’ve struggled. I’ve found myself struggling a lot.

Something I have always struggled with my entire life is telling people how I feel, or talking about my feelings. I’ve realized that my whole life I’ve trained myself to keep bad feelings and emotions to myself. I’ve done this out of fear that people will react badly to my feelings, and be unwilling to listen to why I’m upset over something.

This weekend, the George W. Bush Presidential Center released a video concerning the Covid-19 pandemic. The video, narrated by former President Bush, describes the dangers of the novel coronavirus, and the havoc it is wrecking on our medical system and national psyche. He then describes how the nation came together after 9/11 by forgetting partisanship, and how we are now uniting to combat this present threat. In short, Bush called for unity in the face of this pandemic, and essentially criticized Trump’s divisive rhetoric.

Although the story initially broke in March via The Intercept, sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden by Tara Reade have recently made headline news. For weeks leading up to the story finally being covered by mainstream news outlet The New York Times, the issue received considerable attention on left wing media like The Intercept, The Katie Halper Show, and Rising with Krystal Ball, with many Twitter figures and personalities also weighing in. Soon it was taken up by the right in Fox News, The Washington Examiner, and The Daily Wire, as well, with little word from sources like The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, and The Washington Post.

During my time scrolling through Hulu looking for yet another movie or show to watch while bored in the house, I stumbled across something I had never heard of before and decided to begin watching it. As the first few episodes of the FX show played, I honestly didn’t pay too much attention. After finishing the series just days later, it is now one of my favorites of all time.

Every day we wake up to find out something new: rapidly increasing numbers of death from the virus, solutions that no one can seem to agree on, the misinformation, the uncertainty of not knowing when this will be over. The one thing I don’t hear a lot of people mentioning is how the coronavirus drastically impacts low-income people.

In the current state our world is in, it’s easy to start looking for distractions to pass the time and keep you from getting the S.I.P blues. While searching the app store for such a distraction, I came across Stardew Valley — a farming simulator that is much, much more than a farming simulator.

The charisma, passion and steadiness of Sanders was on full display. He went through his policies, talked about how together all of us were gonna change America and decried corporate money in politics.
