The Eastern Michigan Eagles (6-5, 3-4) football team plays their final game of the regular season versus the Kent State Golden Flashes (5-6, 4-3) on Friday, Nov. 29 at Rynearson Stadium. It is Senior Day for the Eagles as they look to win 7+ games for the second year in a row. The game will kick off at noon on ESPN+.

Eagles football team offers running back Daveon Hunter

Daveon Hunter, who is a 3-star running back according to 247 Sports, was offered a scholarship from the Eastern Michigan football program on Monday, Nov. 11. The senior running back is 5’10” and 200 pounds. He attends Chandler High School in Arizona and is slated to graduate at the end of the current school year.

Eastern Michigan dominates Akron to win fifth game of the year

On the coldest game of the year for Eastern Michigan, the Eagles’ running game was nothing but hot. Eastern Michigan football got back in the win column after two consecutive losses, topping Akron 42-14. The Eagles are now 5-5 on the season and 2-4 in conference play.

Chris Creighton was hired by Eastern Michigan before the 2014 season and after Ron English being fired the year prior. English was the Eagles head coach for four years before being fired nine games into his fifth campaign. English led them to just one six-win season, with a record of 11-46. Preston Hutchinson's heroic performance in his first career start gave the Eagles their first win over Western Michigan in six seasons on Saturday, Oct. 19 by a score of 34-27. Hutchinson stepped in for an injured Mike Glass III and threw for 357 yards while completing 84% of his passes and accounting for four touchdowns.
