Tom Hanks fights to stop a plague in 'Inferno'

Ron Howard’s third film Inferno hits theaters this Friday, Oct. 28, with Tom Hanks reprising his role as famed symbologist Robert Langdon. Based on the Dan Brown novels, the story follows Langdon as he attempts to untangle a deadly mystery rooted in history, and this time, he finds himself caught up in a murderous conspiracy and plague tied to Dante Alighieri’s Inferno and the nine circles of hell. To make thing worst, Langdon has woken up in a hospital with amnesia, and he now is being accused of stealing Dante’s death mask.
