Layla McMurtrie is the Editor-in-Chief at The Echo. She is a junior at EMU majoring in journalism and minoring in women & gender Studies. Layla has written for us for over two years, beginning as an opinions writer and music review columnist, as well as being the podcast editor summer of 2021 and managing editor this past fall semester. She loves music and good food, as well as helping people and of course, writing.
