The Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber of Commerce and the West Washtenaw Business Association will be sponsoring a job fair Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Washtenaw Community College in the Morris J. Lawrence Building.
According to a press release, “This job fair is another effort by the WWBA and A2Y Chamber to stimulate the economy in Southeastern Michigan, make local employers successful and get the unemployed and underemployed back to work.”
Among the participating companies are Northwestern Mutual, Select Ride, Michigan Ladder, Macy’s, Michigan Office Solutions and Zingerman’s. Those looking for a job are advised to have multiple copies of their resume prepared, and to come ready to meet with potential employers.
