Monday, Oct. 9

An individual using an expired handicap placard was reported at 9:08 a.m. The crime occurred on Oakwood St., Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 11:01 a.m. Case was closed Oct. 10.

A student receiving threatening texts from an ex-boyfriend was reported at 2:52 p.m. The crime occurred at Marshall Hall at 2:52 p.m. The crime is still open for investigation.

A resident of Pittman experiencing Internet harassment from another student was reported at 6:02 p.m. The crime occurred at the same time as it was reported. The incident is still being investigated.

Individuals were found in possession of narcotic equipment at 11:45 p.m. on Leforge Road. The case is still open.

Tuesday, Oct. 10

Assault of a resident of Cornell Court H. was reported at 12:18 a.m. The crime occurred with no forced entry into the building at the same time. The case is still open for investigation.

Larceny of a backpack from an office at the Alexander Music Building was reported at 2:42 p.m. The crime occurred Oct. 6. at 2:08 p.m. The case is still open.

A fight breaking out on the Ann St. Lot was reported at 4:41 p.m. The crime occurred at the same time. One of the individuals in the fight was interviewed. The case is still open.

An individual on warrant failed to appear for questioning on Oakwood St. at 6:02 p.m. The crime was reported at the same time. The case was closed Oct. 11.

Wednesday, Oct. 11

Larceny of a bicycle in front of Wise Hall was reported at 12:30 a.m. The crime occurred at the same time. The case is still open.

A group of football players were reported for disturbing the peace at 12:49 a.m. The crime occurred at the same time as the players threw eggs at one another, hitting multiple cars in the process. The case is still open. 

An individual failed to pick up their warrant on Oakwood Street at 10:39 a.m. The crime was reported at the same time. The case is still open.

A student failed to stop and identify themself at the Green Lot. The crime was reported at 11:20 a.m. The crime occurred between the hours of 10:20 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. The case is still open.

A student failed to stop and identify themself after an accident on the Oakwood South Lot. The crime was reported and occurred at 11:41 a.m. The case was closed.

A resident of Brown Apartments reported harassing communications at 4:51 p.m. The crime occurred between the hours of 4 p.m. and 4:51 p.m. The case is still open.

A student failed to stop and identify themself after an accident on the Mayhew Lot. The crime was reported and occurred at 7:20 p.m. The student received a citation after the incident, and the case was closed.

A large group of students were reported to be disturbing the peace at 10 p.m. The crime occurred at the Dining Commons with the students being inside the building. The case is still open.

Larceny of personal items from a motor vehicle was reported at 11:25 p.m. The crime occurred at the same time on the Green Lot when the vehicle was broken into. The case is still open.

Thursday, Oct. 12

Larceny of personal items from a motor vehicle was reported at 12:23 a.m. The crime occurred at the same time on the Green Lot. The owner of the vehicle stated that the items inside were rifled through, but nothing was taken. The case is still open.

Anti-Trump graffiti was reported in the Student Center bathroom at 8:10 a.m. The crime occurred between the hours of midnight and 5 a.m. The case is still open.

An individual failed to appear for warrants at Alexander Music Building at 4:39 p.m. The crime occurred at the same time when the individual was arrested on campus. The case is still open.

A resident at Putnam Hall reported a domestic violence incident at 10:44 p.m. The crime occurred at the same time between two roommates. The case is still open.

Friday, Oct. 13

Two reports were filed at the Ypsilanti Police Department at 1:52 a.m. for both disturbing the peace and police obstruction. The crime occurred at Normal Street and Pearl Street and is pending ac. 

Two reports were filed from Welsh Hall for assault and battery and minor possession of alcohol. The crime occurred at 12:36a.m., the student being issued a citation for MIP. 

An individual damaged the interior door window at Bowen Field House between 6:00 p.m. Oct. 12 and 8:00p.m. Oct. 13. The crime was reported at 10:36a.m. Oct. 13 and remains open. 

An individual failed to appear with a warrant for their arrest and transport to county jail at Oakwood Street at 5:25p.m. 

Saturday, Oct. 14

An individual failed to appear with lodging warrants at 12:48 a.m. on Oakwood St. The case was closed on the same day. 

An individual was arrested and reported at 6:07 a.m. for possessing marijuana and operating a vehicle while intoxicated on Ballard Street and Michigan Avenue. The current case remains open. 

A verbal argument was reported as a disruption of the peace at 5:33 p.m. at Westview Apt. Q. The current case remains open. 

A student reported to DPS that a personal package was stolen from Hoyt Residence Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 5. The crime was reported on Oct. 14 at 5:52 p.m. and remains open. 

An individual failed to appear (FTA) and was arrested on warrant for possession of intoxicants at 9:58 p.m. on Oakwood St. The case was closed Oct. 15.
