Homestead High senior Taeley Mahler commits to Eastern Michigan ahead of volleyball season

Homestead High School's volleyball standout Taeley Mahler solidified her collegiate aspirations by officially signing with Eastern Michigan University on December 4, 2023. The EMU Eagles will kick off their preseason with an exhibition game against Hillsdale College on August 19 at the Gervin GameAbove Center in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This match will offer Mahler and her teammates an early opportunity to showcase their skills as they prepare for the upcoming season.

EMU volleyball drops match to Central Michigan, 3-0

The Eastern Michigan University women's volleyball team took on Central Michigan University on Wednesday, Oct.19. The Eagles fell to the Chippewas, 3-0, which moved Eastern Michigan's record to 3-18 overall and 2-7 in Mid-American Conference play.

Eastern Michigan University volleyball drops all matches in DePaul Invitational

The Eastern Michigan University womens’ volleyball team competed in the DePaul Invitational on Friday, September 9, 2022, and Saturday, September 10, 2022. On Friday, the Eagles faced off against Virginia Tech University, and Saint Louis University, as they dropped both matches in five sets, with both finishing in a 3-2 loss, while on Saturday they faced off against tournament host DePaul University where they fell to the Blue Demons, 3-1. 




Julez DeShetler and Queso Tone catch up after a short hiatus due to illness and someones birthday. The pair talk about their semesters and the final big events of the year, the Eastern Echo Media Gala and Rock The Patio. The latter playing host to Eagletainment's very own Queso Tone as a musical performance, with the shows closing act Anthony Roperti a former guest of the show.
