EMU’s Army ROTC program is apart of EMU’s long history. A part of that history and legacy is the Cannon Crew. The Cannon Crew is made of cadets who also make up the Eagle Battalion.
Eastern Michigan University men’s golf team traveled to Naperville, Ill. April 29-May 1 to compete in the Mid-American Conference Championships. On May 1, EMU’S men's golf team finished the 2022 Mid-American Conference Championship with a tie for fifth place with Miami University.

Eastern Michigan’s women's golf team traveled to Bowling Green, Ohio to compete in the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational April 9-10. Eastern Michigan finished seventh place overall at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.
Freshman Ella Chemotti earned an individual invitation to the NCAA Regional Championships March 30 - April 2. Chemotti scored a 9.900 on beam at the NCAA Regional Championships and tied for second place.
Eastern Michigan’s baseball team faced Oakland University Tuesday resulting in a loss for the Eagles. The Eagles are now 5-12 for the season thus far.
EMU men’s golf team records their lowest 54 hole score in program history at Grand Canyon Invitational
Eastern Michigan participated in the Grand Canyon University Invitational March 14-15. Eastern Michigan posted the 12th-lowest 54 hole score in program history during Tuesday’s event. The Eagles placed 10th overall and saw Ty Celone record his 24th career top-25.
Eastern Michigan’s swim and dive team traveled to Bowling Green, Ohio to compete in the MAC Championships. Despite not winning the Championship EMU earned three silver and two bronze medals.
After a 5 game losing streak the Eagles took a win over Miami University 70-61. Miami leads in head-to-head victories, 43-23, in the all-time series between Eastern Michigan University and Miami University after Wednesday’s win. Areanna Combs led the Eagles with 19 points.
Eastern Michigan University womens' basketball concede third consecutive defeat in 93-68 loss to Buffalo
Eastern Michigan University’s womens’ basketball team traveled to Buffalo, New York for a matchup against the University at Buffalo. The matchup between EMU and Buffalo is the 29th meeting between the two teams since 1999. Prior to Wednesday’s game, both teams tied for 14 wins and 14 loses since 1999, with Buffalo taking the win over the Eagles the last seven games. Buffalo broke the tie after outscoring the Eagles 93-68 on Wednesday night.
