Eastern Michigan University holds is sixth annual Giving True Day as a way to support and give thanks to different aspects of the university. One can make a gift to athletics, an EMU college of the donor’s choice, WEMU, special initiatives like the Undergraduate Symposium, and much more.

Dr. Robert Turner hosted a discussion and book signing at Eastern Michigan University Wednesday, Nov. 28, for his newly released book, “Not For Long,” which showcases the shared experiences and obstacles NFL players face while playing and when their athletic career ends.

News Anchor Josh Landon visited Sponberg Auditorium on Wednesday to give advice to future journalists. Landon, an anchor for Fox 2 News, talked about his journey to his current job and answered questions from student journalists and broadcasters. Landon, an EMU graduate, shared his enthusiasm and knowledge with students.

On June 1, the city of Ypsilanti kicked off it's LBGTQ+ Pride month with the second Annual Ypsi Pride community celebration. Part of the first Friday is a series of events to draw members from LBGT+ community with local businesses around downtown Ypsilanti.

You’re going to get people that disagree from a scale of ‘I don’t see it that way but I see your point’ and ‘you’re the devil and will bring the end of the world in your wake for believing that’. But there’s something troubling among the arguments – a distinctly pessimistic way of thinking: the belief that some of the most troubling things in life are simply inevitable and cannot be changed.
