I have been largely vegetarian for over a decade, and sometimes it’s easy. My parents have always been fans of serving up fresh fruits and vegetables, so they sometimes voluntarily make vegetarian meals. My dad’s specialty is zucchini-mozzarella pie, and my mother is partial to minestrone soup. I’m lacto-ovo vegetarian, which means I eat milk products and eggs as well as plant-derived foods.

Here’s the thing about Chelsea Fagan’s “I’m Only Here for the WiFi:” It is downright, oftentimes, laugh-out-loud funny. Fagan just has a way of turning a phrase – well, more like concocting a phrase-like cocktail out of overwhelming sarcasm, addictive wit and unavoidable truth. Only then does she inject the narcotic into your veins and let it marinate. I’m sorry, did I say marinate? I meant cause a ruckus.

If you had walked into Corner Brewery at 7:30 p.m. last Thursday, you would have been greeted by a unique ambiance. The brewery hosted a birthday party for a very special guest, the Violin Monster himself, as he warmed up on his violin. The lights had been dimmed to set the appropriate mood and a few test howls could be heard, followed by applause from 200 eager guests adorned in party wear.
