Henry’s five-goal performance powers EMU lacrosse to milestone road victory
The Eastern Michigan lacrosse team earned a 13-10 come-from-behind victory over Austin Peay on March 1 at Morgan Bros. Field, improving to 5-2 behind a late five-goal surge and a career-high five goals from Emerson Henry. Sparked by freshman goalkeeper Emma Baker’s debut in net and milestone performances, including Tracy Grollman tying the program’s career assist record and the team netting its 600th all-time goal, the Eagles handed the Governors their first home loss in program history and now turn their focus to a road matchup at Vanderbilt.
