Poor shooting leads to Eagles loss

After a near 20-point victory over St. Bonaventure, Eastern Michigan University women’s basketball team lose at home to the Monmouth University Hawks 75-68, Monday night, at the Convocation Center. “Just really disappointed in our effort as a whole,” said Eagles head coach Fred Castro.

Dailey’s 25 helps EMU win over UIW 66-47

The Eastern Michigan University women’s basketball team end their three-game road skid with a 66-47 victory over University of Incarnate Word Tuesday, Nov. 29, in San Antonio, Texas. At the end of the first half junior Sasha Dailey had a game-high 16 of the Eagles’ (3-4, 0-0 MAC) 31 points as they led by ten going into the locker room. Daily hit five triples in the first half and finished the game with 25 points and seven from beyond the arc. Dailey tied for fifth-most in Eagles history for made threes after her performance

EMU beats Ferris State in home opener 68-50

Head coach Fred Castro and the Eastern Michigan University’s women’s basketball team won their season home opener 68-50 over the Ferris State University Bulldogs, Wednesday afternoon at the Convocation Center. Despite the struggles offensively from the Eagles, junior guard Sasha Dailey led EMU with 28 points to go along with nine rebounds and five steals.

Soccer picks up first MAC win

Eastern Michigan University’s women’s soccer team close Homecoming weekend with two straight victories in Mid-American Conference play. The Eagles scored two goals in the first half against the Falcons of Bowling Green State University while taking a total of 16 shots.

Soccer drops final two games to end non-conference play

The Eastern Michigan University women's soccer team lose their final two non-conference games over the weekend against Illinois State and Detroit Mercy at Scicluna Field in Ypsilanti, MI. In the Eagles first match-up over the weekend, EMU Senior Ellie Tillar scored the first goal of the game in the 13th minute – her third straight goal of the season. After showing relentless defense over the next 29 minutes before the Redbirds even the score 1-1.
