EMU students arriving for classes this week found that recent changes to E|Dining had left many of the food locations on campus permanently closed.

Those who enjoy American food will want to try Ma Lou's Fried Chicken, a local restaurant that offers different versions of fried chicken along with other Southern dishes, house-made ice cream milkshakes, and more.

As students begin to pick out their textbooks for the fall 2025 semester, they must keep in mind that EMU's online textbook vendor will be changing in July 2025. Sadly, according to a recent survey, many students drop classes because they cannot afford to buy textbooks. However, there are some steps students can take to reduce the cost of textbooks without compromising their learning.
