EMU football secures second ever bowl victory over San José State University, 41-27

The Eastern Michigan football team traveled to Boise, Idaho, to compete in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl where they knocked off San Jose State, 41-27, to earn their second bowl game win in program history. 

After their 8-4 season, the Eagles will fly to Idaho to compete in Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

The Eastern Michigan football team will compete in Famous Idaho Potato Bowl against San Jose State on Dec. 20, a rematch the 1897 California Bowl where the Eagles won their first and only bowl game.

EMU football adds to historic season with 31-24 win at Kent State

For Eastern Michigan University’s second away game in a row, the Eagles went back to Ohio to visit the Kent State Golden Flashes on Wednesday where they beat the Golden Flashes, 31-24, to mark the fifth away game in a row the team has won this season, a first in Eastern Michigan University football program history, and the Eagles’ seventh overall this season, another program first since 1987.

EMU football secures bowl eligibility for fourth consecutive season following road win at Akron, 34-28
