Local Michigan independent folk artists Nervous But Excited will perform for free at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Student Center followed by a screening of “The Kids are All Right,” for an event called IndiEMU.

The art of balancing the fun of fashion with the realities of everyday life isn’t a simple one. Christine Kue, a junior and a vocal music education major at Eastern Michigan University, seems to have perfected it. “I have many styles,” Kue, who hails from Warren, Mich., said.
