EMU baseball falls short to Kent State in series opener, 6-5

The Eastern Michigan University men’s baseball team took on Kent State University on Thursday, inside Schoonover Stadium in Kent, Ohio. It was the first game of a four-game weekend series that took place on May 19 and runs through May 22.

EMU track and field earn podium finishes at MAC Outdoor Championships

The Eastern Michigan University track and field team competed at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships from Thursday, May 12, through Saturday, May 14 at Kanley Track & Field Complex in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Eagles produced wins in five events on the final day, cementing the men’s team second place finish with 155 points and the women’s third place finish with 108 points. Kent State took home the men’s title as they produced 196 points in the event. Akron took home the women’s title, tallying 124 points.

Eastern Michigan University rowing program places third at CAA championship

On May 15, the Eastern Michigan University women’s rowing team competed in the CAA championships in Pennsauken, NJ on the Cooper River. EMU ranked third overall and earned 26 points, which is the most ever for EMU at the CAA championships.

The Eastern Michigan University track and field team finished the 2022 regular season at the University of Michigan’s Len Paddock Open on Saturday, May 7. The Eagles won the men’s and women’s triple jump, as senior Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed produced a 14.85m jump, and fellow classmate Alisha St. Louis produced a jump of 11.79m. Sophomore Ousman Kamara tallied another victory for the Eagles in the high jump with a 2.00m.
