After breaking an Eastern Michigan University rushing record with 17 carries for 202 yards and three touchdowns, redshirt freshman quarterback Reggie Bell was chosen as the Eastern Echo Eagle of the Week, Saturday.

Grading EMU football at the halfway point of the season

Following Saturday’s 37-27 win over the University at Buffalo, Eastern Michigan University reached the official halfway point of its season. It hasn’t been the easiest time for coach Chris Creighton, but there are some measurable accomplishments he and his team have made so far.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles earned their first Mid-American Conference win of the season with a 37-27 homecoming victory over the visiting University at Buffalo Bulls at Rynearson Stadium, Saturday.
