On April 2, Eastern Michigan University’s women’s rowing team hosted their Eagles Unite regatta against Michigan State University’s crew on Ford Lake in Ypsilanti, MI. The last time the two squads met was during the fall season at the Head of the Grand regatta in East Lansing, MI on Oct. 16 on Grand River.

On Friday March 25, the Eastern Michigan University baseball team hosted the home-opening series against Akron at Oestrike Stadium in Ypsilanti, MI. The eagles had a combined amount of 28 runs and 29 total hits in the double-header win. EMU won the first game 10-9 and the second game 18-6.

The Eastern Michigan Womens' rowing team traveled to the University of Alabama to race against Roll Tide’s No. 15 ranked team on Black Warrior River in Tuscaloosa, AL. on March 5. The trip to Tuscaloosa takes place every spring break with the objective for the EMU rowing team to garner outdoor training to start the spring season.

Being extremely stressed is unfortunately a normal part of being a college student. Not getting enough sleep and not having a lot of free time is enough to make a student depressed. The Eastern Michigan University Mens’ basketball team (8-13, 3-7 Mid-American Conference) traveled to Athens, Ohio to face off against Ohio University (18-3, 9-1 Mid-American Conference) inside their Convocation Center on Thursday, Feb. 3.
