EMU Men’s Basketball Falls to Central Michigan

Paul Jackson had 19 points along with five assists and four steals for EMU (13-15, 7-8 MAC). James Thompson IV notched a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Elijah Minnie had 11, despite not being in the starting five like usual. Kevin McKay had the game-high in points at 23 and grabbed 10 rebounds for Central (20-8, 9-6). David DiLeo scored 18 and went 5-of-9 shooting from the 3-point range.

EMU Men’s Track & Field Finish Second on Day One

Eastern Michigan University’s men’s track and field team competed in day one of the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships in Kent, Ohio on Feb. 22, finishing in second place with 32 points, tour points behind first place Akron.

EMU Men’s Basketball: Looking Ahead

The Eastern Michigan University men’s basketball team is fresh off a thrilling comeback victory over the University of Toledo, 76-69, after trailing by as much as 12 points in the second half. With just five games remaining in the regular season, the Eagles are gearing up for another MAC tournament run.

EMU Football Defeated by Super Bowl MVP

Julian Edelman, who was named Super Bowl MVP earlier this month after his victory with the New England Patriots, helped take down Eastern Michigan more than 12 years ago in a game that featured little offensive production from either team. The game took place on Nov. 17, 2006 in Kent, Ohio.

Top Spots for Anthony Davis this Summer

Anthony Davis made major news on Jan. 28 when he requested a trade to “a team that allows him the chance to win consistently and compete for a championship.” Teams lined up to court New Orleans before the trade deadline, but to no avail. Eastern Michigan Baseball Loses Another Heartbreaker

The Eastern Michigan University baseball team lost both games in a doubleheader against New Jersey Institute of Technology in Hoover, Alabama on Feb. 16. In the first outing, the Eagles lost 10-4 and then fell 10-9 in extra innings in the second game.

EMU Welcomes Varsity High School Basketball

Ypsilanti High School faced Lincoln High School in girls and boys varsity basketball on Friday, Feb. 15 at the Convocation Center. The Ypsilanti girls won 42-26, while the Lincoln boys slipped away with a 67-66 victory.

Eastern Michigan University gymnastics overcame an early deficit to beat Mid-American Conference rival the Western Michigan Broncos 194.850-193.725 on Feb. 9 in the Convocation Center.

Paul Jackson Leads EMU Basketball To Victory

The Eastern Michigan University men’s basketball team won a back-and-forth game against Northern Illinois University, 57-49, at the Convocation Center on Feb. 9. The Eagles are now 10-13 (4-6).
