The new movie, “The Lost City”, may be one of the funniest films I have seen in a long time. Sandra Bullock's comedic energy comes into full force in this film and makes it hilarious to watch. This movie feels like an early 2000s romantic bad comedy that you just love to watch over and over (even though it's bad).

If you identify as a science fiction or comedy nerd, Netflix’s “The Adam Project” may be the movie for you. As a fan of sci-fi films in general, they are definitely hit or miss with the ability to sell you on the sci-fi aspect of the film, but this film does a great job of establishing the characters and plot, as well as the science fiction.

If you like high-action superhero movies with great cinematography and plot, this movie is for you. As an avid Marvel fan, I was shocked by how much I enjoyed this movie, but if there is one DC movie to watch, this is the one.

While it sometimes seems that artists burst out of thin air, that is not usually the case. They must cultivate their art and test their limits. Here is some of my favorite early work from four popular artists before their sound resonated to the masses.

They say crime doesn’t pay, but when you have a giant Wookie pulling you out of your healing tank and you get thrown across your castle, that’s what happens. In this exciting episode of the Book of Boba Fett, we get more build up and suspense. I did not like this episode, and so far it is my least favorite, mostly because I am still angry about what happened during it. This is all just my opinion, but I am going to be a lot harsher on this episode out of spite than I was with the other episodes.

Being a big fan of adventure and action movies like “National Treasure" and "Indiana Jones,“ I thought “Uncharted" would be right up my alley. The movie is based on a video game, so I was interested to see how that would play on screen. Shockingly, I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

Shrimp Flavours, an Indian restaurant that serves authentic curries, biryanis, and tandoori items, recently opened in Ypsilanti at 529 W Cross St. I bought my first bowl of curry from Shrimp Flavours on a lab day this winter. When I tasted the first spoon from their chicken Tikka Masala, its authentic spices and savory texture really warmed me up. All of their curry meals come with a bowl of basmati rice cooked with cinnamon sticks, cumin, and other herbs. I really recommend adding two pieces of garlic naan to enjoy both the “mix and dip” experience with their curries.
