When I heard the powerhouse indie/alt super-group boygenius, made up of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus, had announced that they were finally releasing a debut album together, I wasn’t surprised. More rock bands seem to be making their way out of the woodwork already in 2023. With Pierce The Veil’s long-awaited release and Paramore’s return just around the corner, it would be a good time to take in some of the underappreciated bands of the scene, specifically ones like Sleep Token.

The design and marketing of "M3GAN" is fantastic while everything else seems not up to par. Instead of an awesome movie about a killer robot doll, it’s a lot of unneeded information that could’ve been left out to make room for more interesting plot.

As we leave 2022 in the past, it's hard to imagine 2023 following up this year in music. In all genres, but especially in R&B, this year has contained some of the most spectacular albums of the decade. Continuing my last two week's articles on the top 6-15 R&B albums of the year, here are my top five.

As an engineering major myself, I deal with math and physics a lot, yet when it comes to future careers I know that I most likely will not be using complex math. Oftentimes, engineers choose to go into mechanics, aerospace, and other branches of physics, all of which normally use the simplest types of math to solve the most complex problems.

There is nothing quite like a break for a student, especially one who lives far from their family and is eager to see them. Smart students don't work harder; they work smarter. It is important to invest in break time to get the necessary tasks accomplished so you can fully commit to classes when the semester begins.

I don't know what I was expecting from this special, but I guess it was more than what I got. It's fun, lighthearted, and if you're a Marvel fan, you’ll like it, but it’s nothing I’d watch over and over again.

When “CTRL” was released in 2016, SZA was not only hailed as one of the best R&B artists of her time, but the album itself is considered one of the best of the decade. However, fans were left with very little to enjoy afterward as she only released a string of singles and features during her five-year hiatus.
