EMU mens’ basketball drops weekend matchup to Akron

The Eastern Michigan University mens' basketball team (9-18, 4-12 Mid-American Conference), took on the University of Akron (17-9, 10-6 Mid-American Conference), which resulted in a 67-48 loss for the Eagles. EMU freshman Noah Farrakhan led the Eagles with 21 points. His performance put him at fourth all-time in freshman scoring in EMU mens’ basketball history, passing former EMU guard, Darryl Garrett.

EMU Mens' Basketball falls to Ohio University, 81- 68

The Eastern Michigan mens’ basketball team (8-13, 3-7 MAC) took on Ohio University (18-3, 9-1 MAC) in Athens, Ohio. The Eagles fell to the Bobcats, 81-68. Senior Nate Scott led the Eagles as he scored 16 points while shooting above 50-40-90.

Eastern Michigan Eagles soar above Miami RedHawks, 85-75

Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team (8-11, 3-5 Mid-American Conference) hosted Miami University (9-10, 3-5 Mid-American Conference) inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center on Saturday, Jan. 29. The first meeting of the season between the Eagles and RedHawks resulted in a 85-75 victory for the Eagles, snapping EMU's four-game losing streak.

EMU Men's Basketball fall to Bowling Green in offensive battle 85-71

The Eastern Michigan University mens' basketball team (7-11, 2-5 MAC), took on Bowling Green State University (11-9, 4-5 MAC), which resulted in an 85-71 loss for the Eagles. Freshman Colin Golson Jr. led the team in scoring, putting up 16 points. Junior Bryce McBride added on 15 points. The Eagles look to bounce back at home on Saturday, Jan. 29, against Miami University.

Eastern Michigan men’s basketball defeats Niagara in nail-biter

Last Wednesday night the Eastern Michigan University men’s basketball team (4-5, 0-0 MAC) battled Niagara University (3-6, 0-2 MAAC) inside the Convocation Center, which resulted in a 60-58 win for the Eagles. The Eagles have now earned four wins on the season under first-year Head Coach Stan Heath
