Longshot: movie review

Longshot, the first political romantic comedy of 2019 had a lot to live up to considering the marketing of the two main stars performances. Starring Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron as our “oddball” couple of the film “Charlotte Field & Fred Flarsky” whom served ounces of chemistry throughout the film.

Thrones Talk: 'Winterfell'

On Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 9:00pm, I experienced a moment I had been waiting for after almost two full years. It was the Game of Thrones premiere. The Game of Thrones premiere is especially meaningful this year because it is the final Game of Thrones premiere. Much of the audience, including myself, have followed these characters for years. It’s going to be hard to say goodbye.

Wednesday, April 10 in the student center auditorium the comedic hypnotist Dan Lornitis came to Eastern Michigan University (EMU) to share some knowledge and laughs to the students at EMU.

‘Much Ado’ At EMU

When friends, family and other playgoers gathered in Quirk Theatre this past Friday night, there was only the anticipation of a great opening night in the air, a held breath and hope for an entertaining rendition of one of Shakespeare’s works. By the time the curtain fell on the first evening show of the run, they were left with more than that: a discussion on gender relations, double standards and comedy in the #MeToo era. ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ To Premiere in Quirk Theatre

 Another talented cast takes the Quirk mainstage this coming weekend for EMU Theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s classic, “Much Ado About Nothing.” The production, directed by Dr. Lee Stille, is set to run for two weekends, April 5 through April 7 and April 11 through April 14.
