The Tony Awards air June 12th. The nominations are dominated by one single show: Hamilton. There are thirteen categories for the nominations, and in trail-blazing fashion Lin-Manuel’s hip-hop-infused masterpiece is nominated for a record breaking 16 awards.
Kayla Boyd was one among the many 2016 spring graduates. Boyd graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, Apparel and Textile Merchandising from Eastern Michigan University. For the past four years, she served as a staff writer at the Eastern Echo.
