EMU-AUUP concludes strike after reaching tentative agreement

Just before midnight Sunday, the Eastern Michigan University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (EMU-AAUP) said a tentative agreement for a new contract had been reached. Strike activity was suspended and EMU-AAUP members returned to the classroom Monday, Sept. 12.

Students can come to see all Eastern Michigan University has to offer at Eagle fest 2022. Students who attend Eagle fest will be able to browse over 150 student organizations' display tables. In addition, you will also be able to play games while interacting with others and eat carnival food.

We are officially two weeks away from the return of MACtion to Ypsilanti, Michigan. On September 2, the Eastern Michigan Eagles kick-off the 2022 season under the bright lights at Rynearson Stadium, hosting the Eastern Kentucky Colonels. Following one of the most successful EMU recruiting classes in recent years, expectations and excitement continue to escalate.

Steve Schram named new head coach of EMU women's tennis program

Eastern Michigan University Vice President and Director of Athletics announced that Steve Schram will be the new head coach of the women’s tennis program. Schram has an overall 120-49 career record in nine seasons as a women’s tennis head coach. Schram has led three other college tennis programs, recording an all-time winning percentage of .710.
