Eastern Michigan University soccer starts 4-0 for first time since 1999

Eastern Michigan University soccer improved to 4-0 for the first time since 1999 with a 1-0 win over Purdue Fort Wayne on August 29, thanks to a 17th-minute goal by Maddie O'Farrell. The Eagles' defense, led by Ella Holland’s three saves, secured their third consecutive clean sheet, and they will next face the University of Cincinnati on September 1 in their first-ever matchup against a Big 12 opponent.

Eastern Michigan baseball adds Andrew DiTullio as assistant coach

Eastern Michigan University has hired Andrew DiTullio as an assistant baseball coach. DiTullio brings experience from Southern New Hampshire University and the Minnesota Twins' Florida Complex League, where he excelled in player development and offensive performance, enhancing the EMU baseball program under Head Coach Robbie Britt.

Eastern Michigan soccer kicks off new era with 1-0 victory over Oakland

Eastern Michigan University's soccer team began the 2024 season with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Oakland University, marking the start of a new era under first-year Head Coach Taylor Clarke. Sophomore Cameryn Susey scored the decisive goal in the 85th minute, leading the Eagles to a historic 250th program win. This victory ended a 22-match winless streak at Scicluna Field and was the team's first season-opening clean sheet since 2016.


Donald Scott

Donald Scott finishes triple jump at Paris Olympics

Former Eastern Michigan track and field star Donald Scott showcased his talent on the world stage once again, finishing 14th in the men's triple jump at the 2024 Olympics with a leap of 16.77m (55-00.00). This marks Scott's second Olympic appearance, continuing EMU's long tradition of representation at the Summer Games since 1960.

Maddie Dugan named head coach of EMU Lacrosse

Eastern Michigan University has appointed 2024 MAC Coach of the Year Maddie Dugan as the new head coach of its women's lacrosse program. Dugan, who previously led Detroit Mercy to the MAC Tournament championship game, brings a wealth of experience and success to EMU, where she will guide a promising team that reached the MAC Tournament for the first time last season.
