Eastern Michigan Track at UofM Invitational feb 17th

Six Eagles top five different track and field events in Clyde Hart Classic

Eagle athletes went on to place in the top five in numerous events, including Gabriel Singh (Toledo, Ohio) in the 400m hurdles, Ryan Johnson (Springboro, Ohio) and Jake McEarchern (Lloydminster, Alberta) in the hammer throw, Alex Thompson (St. Catherine, Jamaica) in the long jump, and Mariia Yelanska (Dnipro, Ukraine) and Kyra Buffen (Columbus, Ga.) in the Triple Jump.

EMU track and field earn podium finishes at MAC Outdoor Championships

The Eastern Michigan University track and field team competed at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships from Thursday, May 12, through Saturday, May 14 at Kanley Track & Field Complex in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Eagles produced wins in five events on the final day, cementing the men’s team second place finish with 155 points and the women’s third place finish with 108 points. Kent State took home the men’s title as they produced 196 points in the event. Akron took home the women’s title, tallying 124 points.

EMU track and field conclude regular season at University of Michigan's Len Paddock Open

The Eastern Michigan University track and field team finished the 2022 regular season at the University of Michigan’s Len Paddock Open on Saturday, May 7. The Eagles won the men’s and women’s triple jump, as senior Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed produced a 14.85m jump, and fellow classmate Alisha St. Louis produced a jump of 11.79m. Sophomore Ousman Kamara tallied another victory for the Eagles in the high jump with a 2.00m.
