There are several ways that women’s control of their own bodies has been taken from them. Their right to decide what is done with their body is theirs and that should not be up for debate. We need to make changes to ensure the safety of women across the globe.

Advice: A personal account of bias in medicine

Growing up, I was given instructions from a doctor that could have seriously hurt me while I was growing up. Trying to raise awareness of doctors who are biased, depending on their patients is important in making sure patients are getting the treatment they need individually.
